Under Construction Hydro Power Adds 3.3 Million Kilowatts
New hydro electric projects in the Columbia and Peace River basins will tap existing storage to boost B C Hydro capacity by about 3.3 million kilowatts. The plan envisages increased electricity generation and grid reliability as the province expands its energy infrastructure.

Voluntary fines add to treasury across several acts
Between February 7 and February 20 1975 voluntary penalties were paid by individuals including John Lengyel Clifford Young Arthur Poirier Auguste Rochel and others for offenses under the Firearms Motor Vehicle and Commercial Transport Acts. In court on February 20 Judge McQueen dealt with Raymond Rivet for failing to appear after being charged for a no lights violation. Site One development on the Peace River begins preliminaries to add 700 000 kilowatts of hydro capacity with four generating units slated for 1979 and 1980 raising Hydro’s capacity by about 70 percent.
