Chetwynd Faces 2007 Outlook From Local Leaders
Chetwynd Mayor Evan Saugstad briefed Chamber members on the district’s 2007 economic outlook covering capital projects water system upgrades paving near 1 million dollars airport terminal rebuild 350 thousand and a 7 million Peace River regional district upgrade starting 2008. He noted timber and pellet sectors activity including Canfor West Fraser and growing pellet plants with green fuel claims.
