Downtown Chetwynd Revitalization Plan Presented Tonight

Randy Hill reports that Willys Dunn will present downtown revitalization ideas at Town Hall. The plan envisions Phase 1 a plaza at 51st Street and 50th Avenue with paths, murals, plants, and wood carvings, plus new sidewalks, lighting, and flower planters on the east side. Funding combines about $70,000 from a two year improvement tax and $50,000 from district budgeting, with a public tender to set construction and masonry costs and a potential street name change to Main.
