British Columbia Telephone Co filed 21 pages of revised evidence at the CRTC rate hearing in Vancouver. The utility seeks a 15 percent increase in residential rates and delayed cross examination by intervenors.
The operating room at Chetwynd General Hospital will reopen for elective surgery on March 5. It has been closed since November 22 after the unexplained deaths of two patients during procedures, with only emergency use allowed while an anaesthetic machine component was sent out for repair.
