Memorial marks Lynn Gauthier death, domestic violence awareness
About 55 people gathered at the Chetwynd Women's Resource Centre on February 5 to mark the first anniversary of Lynn Mavis Gauthier’s death from injuries believed tied to domestic violence. The event featured a memorial portrait, yellow ribbons, and speakers urging action. The family plans an endowment to aid young women escaping abuse, and a public phone line invites help.
