The Northern Lights College reports rapid progress on a new four classroom facility near the Post Office. It will host a music room and a pottery space with IBM computers and typewriters in the Business Careers area. Daytime upgrading will use three classrooms plus a First Aid Room and a student lounge.

CP Air Plans Direct Canada to New Zealand Flights
CP Air intends to launch direct weekly flights from Canada to Auckland starting November 1 1985 under a bilateral agreement initialed November 30. A second weekly service would begin June 1 1986 once formalized. CP Air, Canada’s Trans Pacific flag carrier, already operates a biweekly South Pacific route.

Mix flour sugar and salt. Cut in Krona to breadcrumb texture. Bind with egg and chill. Press into 12 tart tins. Add brandy to mincemeat and fill cases. Top with pastry lids. Bake at 350 F for 15 20 minutes until golden. Dust with icing sugar. Makes 12 tarts.
Chocolate Truffles with Orange Liqueur Recipe
Melt chocolate over low heat with Krona Margarine and fold in ground almonds and hazelnuts. Stir in whipping cream then add brandy and refrigerate until firm. Roll tablespoons of mixture into balls and coat with powdered cocoa. Makes 48 pieces.
