Health care cuts in British Columbia target non covered therapies
In British Columbia, Health Minister Colin Hansen begins a first wave of Pharmacare and Medicare cuts. Physiotherapy chiropractic naturopathic and massage therapy no longer covered except for low income households while prescription deductibles rise. estimates place total savings at about 130 million with further cuts planned to meet a frozen three year budget.
