Mentors sought for YOUBET! young entrepreneurs in Chetwynd
Local businesspeople are invited to mentor five Chetwynd youth in the YOUBET! program. Ian Smith recruits mentors who have at least two years in business, with a $200 honorarium after several meetings. Students advance to stage three in January and gain practical planning and financing experience. Linda Gammon credits both YOUBET! and her entrepreneurship course for helping launch her holistic aromatherapy business. For details contact Ian Smith or the Chamber of Commerce.
