Moberly Lake School Opens in Community Ceremony
The new Moberly Lake School hosting kindergarten to grade five opened officially on December 4 with about 40 attendees. Elders and chiefs from West Moberly and Saulteau bands attended, performing an honour song and prayer as officials praised volunteers and Aboriginal education. The former school will be leased to the Moberly Lake Senior Citizens' Association, which plans to move the building if a May proposal proceeds.
