Mares pulled from graves at Brookside Cemetery rescue
Three pregnant mares were extracted from six foot deep graves at Brookside Cemetery after a visitor found them around 10 30 am. Steve's Picker Service used a cherry picker and tarps to lift the horses, avoiding pressure on the unborn foals. The operation took about two hours with no charges billed to the owners.
