IWA votes to return to work at Canfor plant
Canfor employees vote 91 percent in favor of accepting the contract ending a four month strike in Fort St John. The agreement includes protection against contracting out until July 1988 and an early pension at 55 with a 40 cent raise in year two. A Royal Commission will study hours and contracting out post 1988. Local issues are settled.
