More Woodlots in British Columbia Horse Logging Plan
The Horse Logging Association met with Dawson Creek Forest District Manager R. Brash at Pine Cone Restaurant in Chetwynd on December 1 1993. They discussed issuing more woodlots to Association members and cooperating with forest service to monitor logging and silviculture compliance. Brash offered self policing tips and ways for the Association to be more effective. Attendees concluded the group should consolidate progress, noting woodlots and horse logging yield more jobs per harvested volume and should be expanded.
