Knowledge is Everything by Derrick and Rita Self Defense Workshop
Chetwynd Secondary School hosted Goshin-Do Self Defense Workshops with Derrick and Rita Rothermel from Kamloops. Each student received a full day of instruction. The couple, active since 1984 as a team, has conducted about 180 workshops for over 7,500 people and emphasizes nonviolent alternatives and safety education. They plan to return in January to continue the program.
