Health planning committee charts the Chetwynd area strategy
The Chetwynd and District Interim Health Planning Committee, with nineteen members from diverse health care sectors, aims to raise health status for about 6,000 residents across Chetwynd and surrounding communities. It adopted a November 1994 plan detailing demographics, isolation, major health issues, and barriers to care including teen pregnancy, abuse, and costly medical travel.
