At the November 22 S W A C meeting in Chetwynd officials and residents discussed Radon 226 disposal near Jackfish Lake. Rich Girard of BC Environment and Dave Morley explained permit and short term approvals, fast disposal possible without local notice, and that buried Radon 226 deep below Pine River is considered safe for drinking water with no seismic risk.
