Blue Fuel Energy plans wind tied refinery and plant in Tumbl er Ridge
Blue Fuel Energy proposes a 2.5 billion natural gas to gasoline refinery east of Chetwynd aiming for low carbon gasoline. The project would use BC Hydro power and link with Red Willow and Thunder Mountain wind farms awaiting a clean power call. Enercon may build wind turbine parts plant in Tumbl er Ridge to supply projects in BC and beyond, creating about 70 jobs.
