Chetwynd Gas Prices Lead Local Region

Chetwynd hosts the region’s highest gas price at 1.29 per litre while other Canadian cities see declines. GasBuddy data show Grand Prairie at 0.974, Prince George 1.04, Fort St John 1.26, and Dawson Creek 1.24 as prices respond to crude shifts and local market factors. Petro Canada notes price setting varies by operation, with independents often pricing locally but constrained by competition and market conditions. Prices have plunged globally due to a crude glut near 70 USD per barrel, down over 35 percent since June.
