B C Hydro crew relocation angers PRRD directors
Peace River Regional District directors oppose B C Hydro plans to move a four man transmission line crew from Hudsons Hope to Prince George. They cite longer emergency response times, winter hazards, and lack of consultation while urging local training and innovative recruitment. The board votes to draft a strong letter and raise the issue at the UBCM conference.
