Yvonne Elden Receives Freedom of the Municipality
Yvonne Elden, a 50 year pillar of Chetwynd, was awarded Freedom of the Municipality at Tuesday’s council meeting. The honor, rarely given, also grants voting rights in local elections and recognizes her leadership with the Little Prairie Ladies Club, Arts Council, recreation centre projects, and fundraising efforts.
