Judge D M Levis presided as several defendants faced penalties on August 20 1992. Melvin Marchenko fined 200 with 10 day default. William Lehane jailed two months for assault and 30 days for stolen property with concurrent terms. Dika jailed three months for assault. Nipshank transferred within province to Dawson Creek. Ricard ordered to stand trial in Supreme Court Dawson Creek on escaping while imprisoned and sexual assault.

Police report loader damaged at Jackfish Lake gravel pit
At about 9 30 pm on Wednesday August 19 unknown persons damaged a loader parked at the gravel pit near Jackfish Lake and Sawchuk Road by firing out its windows with a .308 calibre rifle. RCMP appeal for information call 788 9221 or 782 tips.
