Chetwynd man to carry Olympic torch in January run
Barry McKinnon of Spectra Energy and Scouts Canada will be one of six torchbearers on the route from Dawson Creek to Fort St. John, passing through Chetwynd on January 31, 2010, as the Vancouver relay proceeds amid Olympic fever. He plans to volunteer at the Paralympic Games and hopes both experiences unlock souvenirs and pride for his family.
