Franklin family to relocate to Lillooet BC
Maureen Gammon Jere Linda and Jed Franklin, longtime Chetwynd residents and Sanctuary Ranch volunteers, plan to move near Lillooet in the Fraser River valley. Jere will lead Fountain View Youth Ranch as principal and president while Linda organizes and supports the community. Jed, born in Chetwynd, survived severe burns from a 1987 gasoline explosion and stars in a national education video about overcoming adversity. The Franklins, deeply religious and committed to service, leave after years of teaching, farming, and community work.
