Canadian Death Race draws out Dag Aabye at 72
In Grande Cache Alberta the Canadian Death Race attracts hard core runners including 72 year old Dag Aabye. The 125 kilometre five leg 24 hour event features rivers mountains and variable weather across a grueling course from Central Park to the Smoky River finishing by boat. Aabye who was born in Oslo during World War II has finished seven times with eleven attempts and notes that even at his age heroes are needed.
