Frost heaves to be eliminated at Chetwynd project
After a two month delay construction of the Chetwynd Recreation Centre right-in right-out project has started to ease traffic and fix spring frost heaves. A $730,600 contract goes to Colmar Construction of Westbank with $105,000 from the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure Safety Enhancement Program and the District of Chetwynd funding the rest. Mike Bernier MLA notes the collaboration improves road safety and access to the recreation centre for residents and tourists.
