Moose hunting rules remind hunters of road closures and safe handling
As hunting seasons begin, regulations detail 15 metre road allowance closures on public roads and 400 metre single projectile prohibited areas on Highway 97, Highway 29 from Chetwynd to Charlie Lake, 520 and 190 roads near Hudson’s Hope. Hunting and target shooting are limited to bows or shotguns with pellets in these zones, with firearms legality and loaded ammunition rules explained.
