Chetwynd Food Bank Aid Highlights Community Efforts
Dan Savoie camped out for donations benefiting the Chetwynd Food Bank at the Tansi Friendship Centre. The center, not limited to any one group, reports rising use from 272 people in 1996 to 400 in 1997 and 252 so far in 1998, with peak times around Back to School and Christmas. Donations come from corporate letters and fundraisers, including Cadets and CFI support, and volunteers note work searches drive need.
