Self employment incentive fund announced in Peace River-Liard region

The Honourable Frank Oberle announced on August 7 that Peace River-Liard Region Community Futures Committee will receive 1,020,240 in Self-Employment Incentive funding over four years. The program aids unemployed workers to test business ideas with grants up to one year, supporting current and new contracts to boost regional growth. Ella Fraser chairs the committee chosen in November 1986 for Community Futures support.
