CAHBC honors its president at dinner party in Chetwynd
Harold Amundsen received a plaque from Korky Grant at a CAHBC supper held last Sunday at Dragon Palace. The group formed about 11 years ago with Little Prairie Heritage Society to produce Saga of Little Prairie Chetwynd, first published 1989 with a second edition in 1996 after 1000 copies sold. Local officials and the Heritage Society praised the book and supported its distribution amid past challenges. The book’s earliest material traces to John Mercer’s 1911 Pine Pass journal.
