Located at 55 25 25 N 122 24 25 W in the LeMoray Creek drainage southwest of Lonesome Mountain, the lake lies four km south of Mount LeMoray. The naming honors longtime resident Otto Elden with support from the Elder family.

Suspicious bingo night leaves players fed up and wary
A troubling evening at a local bingo game saw a player call nine numbers, far fewer than typical, with miscalls and misdraws. The caller allegedly misdirected a win to an elderly native woman, then a relative of the caller won, while others accuse staff of grabbing a card. Players vow not to return due to repeated dissatisfaction.
