Dam investigation shifts to sinkhole area near Williston Lake
BC Hydro moves from tests on other dam parts to focus on the sinkhole zone at the WAC Bennett Dam. The plan uses a Cone Penetration Test to measure temperature, water pressure and soil density as crews descend in stages, with lake levels lowered to enable safe testing and inspections of spillways and plunge pools.
