Cal Cameron crafts art teaching and gallery life at Gallery North
Cal Cameron teaches art and drama at Chetwynd Secondary School and runs Gallery North from his Moberly Lake home. A New Zealand native who traveled through Australia, Europe, and Canada, he blends photography derived scenes with dreamlike canvases. He promotes student independence, funds art supplies via silk screen T shirts, and showcases Mexican and Canadian landscapes alongside works by other artists.
