Chetwynd District to aid PVEP in parking lot repairs
Council authorized District of Chetwynd administration to assist the Pine Valley Exhibition Park with road and parking lot improvements. PVEP president Jillian Young-Warnke said the area has deep potholes hindering access and requested grading, gravel, and leveling using district equipment and staff. Officials noted ongoing winter maintenance and potential costs, with a proposal to fold PVEP parking lot upkeep into the public works budget as a multi year program.
