RCMP Impaired Driving Blitz Nets Offenders and Tickets

During the weekend of April 11 12 the South Peace Traffic Service with Chetwynd Detachment conducted an impaired driving blitz. Three impaired drivers were charged one vehicle impounded two liquor seizures with one charge two 24 hour suspensions eight seat belt charges and eight other motor vehicle act offences were issued by violation ticket. Citizens On Patrol aided locating a previously reported impaired driver aiding removal from roadways. Road safety remains a key goal under Canada's Vision 2010.
