MLA says BC Hydro and BC Rail are not for sale
In a town hall led by MLA Blair Lekstrom, about 25 residents questioned him on BC Hydro and BC Rail. He stated BC Hydro is not for sale and a publicly owned BC Hydro Transmission could save 250 million, while BC Rail is not being sold but explored for an operating agreement. He warned against deregulation and noted the pine beetle issue affecting Cantor’s Chetwynd mill.
