A Glimpse of Our Past From Little Prairie Memoir
Bea Kurjata recounts Jess Morton family memories from Little Prairie and Loon Lake Sask in 1954. The piece quotes Viney Morton on journeys to hospital, harsh roads, and a 1950s community effort to move a gravely ill Lourena, with a return trip by PGE right of way and a four wheel drive jeep. The column notes Clem Morton later marries Penny Tracey and works as a welder in Chetwynd.
