Five Year Plan For Don Titus Recreational Site
The Don Titus Parent Group and district representatives discussed a five year plan to develop an integrated recreational area around the Dixie Lee site. A log cabin base at Dixie Lee will host the project with a footpath linking cabin, playground, and overnight campground. The Teen Tourism group may guide visitors via a trail system from the Tourist Information Centre. Turf will surround the playground and a walkway will connect to the Senior Citizens Hall to support lawn bowling and croquet while a concept plan with Landscape Architect Jay Lazzarin guides next steps.
