Healing Garden off to great start in Chetwynd 2008 season

The Chetwynd Healing Garden begins the 2008 growing season with a new greenhouse completed by Coordinator Rene Poulin and volunteers. An Arts and Culture Week session at the Library featured a slideshow on past blooms and plans, with Planting Day set for June 4 and Homecoming Weekend garden tours. A broader community greenhouse project at the Rodeo Grounds has $100,000 in kind donations but still needs cash to proceed, while the Healing Garden greenhouse was built entirely by Poulin and volunteers.
