C-68 Gun Registry Costs Exceed Promised Budget
Vancouver area MLA Garry Weisgrub charged that Bill C-68’s cost has soared beyond 85 million over five years promised by Allan Rock in 1995. He cited 1400 workers, 350 million spent, 300 thousand firearms registered, and 80 thousand registrations backlog. He warned the Liberal plan wastes tax dollars and shifts funds from crime prevention.
