Wildlife notes from Moberly Lake garden observers
Chetwynd Echo reports mixed flocks of dark eyed and Oregon juncos visiting the garden amid cold weather. Four male robins join the group with four male and one female varied thrushes, plus tree sparrows, an immature bald eagle, hawks, prairie falcon, and a male kestrel hunting nearby. Brian Baker notes hundreds of ducks and geese resting near the bridge as juncos and varied thrushes feed at nearby tables.
