Temple named executive assistant to South Peace MLA Don Phillips
Candide Temple, an experienced journalist and broadcaster, becomes executive assistant to South Peace MLA Don Phillips after an April 7 order in council. She has covered the B C Legislature since 1973, ran a 12 station TV network, hosted Meet The Press, and plans to improve communication between the minister’s office and constituents. She visited Dawson Creek and Chetwynd to meet locals and gauge concerns.

Canada Works grants fund Dawson Creek area projects
Dawson Creek Manpower lists six local Canada Works recipients. Municipal and Community Services gets 35000 dollars for Pouce Coupe area improvements creating 14 jobs over 210 man weeks.
