Environment monitors Pine River ice jam near Twidell Bend Bridge
The Ministry of the Environment watches the Pine River for a spring runoff slide that blocked about half the river near Twidell Bend Bridge. Ice jammed sections leave water moving underneath while officials say immediate risk is low but monitor large ice flows and May or June runoff closely for potential flood impacts on fields and farms downstream.
