Rural physicians praised for their niche by medical student
A medical student from Kelowna says rural physicians fulfill a special niche offering full service family medicine and continuity of care. BC Rural Interest Award honors third and fourth year students, plus first year admits, with deadlines June 30 and September 30, 2015, funded by the Joint Standing Committee on Rural Issues of the Ministry of Health and Doctors of BC.

Memorial set for Dr Geoff Harding in Dawson Creek
The Harding family announces a memorial on May 9 at the United Church in Dawson Creek for Dr Geoff Harding, a longtime community physician who served Gabriola Island New Westminster Chetwynd and Long Island. A Clarence Town memorial is also planned, celebrating his retirement dream and years of care for patients and families.
