Suverus Place opens as Chetwynd senior home
The $3.5 million Suverus Place, Chetwynd's new senior housing project and Olympic legacy building, welcomed residents in a standing room only grand opening. Don Hicks of the Chetwynd Senior Citizens Housing Society noted the nine month progress from ground to home. Blair Lekstrom praised the effort and community support for the 12 apartment complex with integrated services for low income seniors.
