Daffodil Drive Brightens Chetwynd Community in 1996
Spring arrived in Chetwynd on March 29 as about 5 000 daffodils were sold in the local Riffian Cancer Society fundraiser. Volunteers wrapped, boxed, and delivered blooms, with 96 arrangements and greenery prepared. A second sale day at IGA followed, and a smaller order was planned for April 10. List of volunteers and sponsors noted, with thanks to Loomis Courier and local shops.
