PRAHTA Leaders Report Financials and Trade Show Update
Ellen Roller PRAHTA representative submitted a written report to the Chamber detailing PRAHTA progress from 1987 debt of 40000 to 1990 with a 108000 administration budget and 261000 marketing budget for the coming year. Amber Doherty new Chamber Manager discussed InfoNetwork seminar insights while Barb Shirley, former manager, reported the Trade Show is underway with many exhibitors registered and shows at the Rec Centre.

Regulations Tighten Fishing Rules Around Chetwynd and Tumbler Ridge
From May 1 to June 30 no harvest is allowed for Rainbow Trout or Arctic Grayling in rivers feeding the Peace River watershed above Williston Lake. April 1 to June 30 banned in all streams. Sukunka River Rainbow Trout stocked last fall, now closed to catching and keeping. North and South Cameron Lakes restrict Walleye. North Cameron prohibits power boats. Dinosaur Lake imposes barbless hook rule and bans fishing in May and June.
