Chetwynd Receives 660000 Recreation Grant for Centre Road
Peace River South MLA Blair Lekstrom announced a 660000 grant to Chetwynd for a right in right out access project at the Chetwynd Recreation Centre. The funding covers about two thirds of the cost, with the community raising the remainder. The grant supports safer access and reduced congestion, and officials praised local collaboration with Mayor and Area E representative Jerri Lynn Schembri.
