Burning Permits Required for Forest and Debris Burns
During fire season any burning requires a permit, obtainable free from Forest District Offices in Prince George Vanderhoof Fort St James Mackenzie Chetwynd Dawson Creek Fort St John Fort Nelson McBride or Valemount. In the Burning Permit Exempt Area within the Peace River region permits are needed only to burn on Crown Land.
