Also Paris flowers ostrich feathers ribbons silks and novelties in French millinery goods with a grand display and extensive variety.

Strawbridge & Clothier, the wholesale and retail dry goods merchants at the northwest corner of Eighth and Market, launch extensive improvements. They will add a four story rear extension from Filbert street, 24 by 205 feet, extending back to Filbert and Market streets, with a 305 foot overall length. The project integrates twelve buildings at an estimated $100,000, expands milk and general goods areas, relocates offices, and adds a grand fourth floor for making up and mail orders. Completion aimed for September first.
