Obituary: Alexander C. Blankenship Dies in Chehalis
Alexander C. Blankenship died at his Chehalis home on August 16 after a long illness at age 75. Born January 7 1822 in Madison County Indiana he later served as a Baptist minister and state missionary in Illinois and Nebraska. He moved to Chehalis in 1888 and leaves Mrs Blankenship eight children and several relatives. Grand Army veterans conducted the grave service at Urquhart cemetery.
