The Chehalis high school class staged a festive Junior Evening at the Grand Opera House on Friday with a red, white and blue decorated stage and more than 300 in attendance. Performers included Mass Jeva Mossman, Miss Beehly, Frank Radmaker, Belle Armstrong, Bessie Sprague, Marion Russell, and others delivering songs, essays and orations.

Fred Emerson Brooks the poet humorist will appear at the Methodist church Monday evening. Tickets are 25 cents from Dan Long. Brooks will speak in the pulpit with Rev. T E Elliott Sunday evening and recite Palatine. All school pupils admitted for 15 cents.

Other contestants were Ethel Vaughan and Phebe Carlton of Chehalis Flora Calderwood Harry Manning and Arthur Ward of Centralia. A high school alumni meeting will be held Saturday evening at Miss New and's home. Full attendance desired.
